Several years ago when I got my first smartphone I did a blog where I posted a photo a day for a whole year. Not too original, and honestly, I doubt anyone but my mom checked it with any regularity. However, as technology has evolved, I haven’t really kept up with photography, I just slowly faded out of it as I began to focus on writing. However, with the recent purchase of an iPhone, I’ve learned to love it again. The iPhone makes it easy to manipulate your photos with filters, and styles, and saturation and hues (whatever those are). Here’s a few random shots from the last month or so.
Archives For Passion
Saturday morning I was sorting through some clothes to donate when I heard the knock. Only 2 kinds of people knock on your door on Saturday morning people selling something, and Jehovah Witnesses. I’m not a huge fan of being interrupted by either one of them, but as my wife spoke briefly and politely with the J-Dubs I thought to myself, “I might disagree with them, but I can’t deny their passion.” As they left, I spent the rest of my day watching football and reading, but occasionally they would come back to mind.
I began to wonder what my church would look like with that kind of passion.
I’m really excited about football season. Not just because my Oklahoma State Cowboys are coming off their greatest season in school history, but just because I love college football. I love camping in front of my television for Saturdays and watching not just my team, but any team.
