Monday night, the Kentucky Wildcats beat the Kansas Jayhawks for the NCAA Basketball Championship. I’m not a Jayhawk fan, and never will be, but in light of Monday night, I’ve been thinking about Bill Self, their coach. Culture is quite finicky. It changes without warning, holds no loyalties, and is always moving. For the most part I don’t mind it. For those who aren’t familiar with the world of sports something crazy happened in the last couple weeks. Tim Tebow, who is the poster boy for Christianity in the NFL, has been replaced by none other than perhaps one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, Peyton Manning.
